  • Written Exam & Physical Agility Test
  • Background Interview & Investigation
  • Pre-employment physical and psychological examination

APPLICANT TESTING INFORMATION

The Western Virginia Regional Jail will conduct written applicant testing on an as needed basis.

You must submit an application prior to taking the written test.

The physical agility testing will be conducted at Roanoke City Fire Station Number 11,
1502 Riverland Road, S.E., Roanoke, VA 24014

This is not open testing.
You must successfully complete the written examination in order to be eligible to take the physical agility test.
