Maintenance Technician
(Civilian Position)

The Western Virginia Regional Jail is seeking applicants for a Jail Maintenance Technician.
Salary range is $28,602 – $46,044 (D.O.Q.).
The position involves the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and HVAC equipment, including jail security systems. The position requires skilled work in one or more building trades, such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Must possess a high school diploma or GED, US citizen and pass a background screening.
Position offers competitive salary, VRS retirement, health and dental benefits, paid vacation and holidays off.  Normal working hours are M-F, 7:30 -4:00
