Attorney / Client Telephone Contact

Attorneys who wish to contact their clients held in jail by way of telephone may call (540) 378-3700 and leave a message for the inmate to call. Please give your name, name of client, and time to call you. After verifying your information, the message will be delivered to the inmate. Your client may then return your call, if they so desire.

At the attorney's request, inmate's may be allowed to make free phone calls to their attorney.
If you would like to receive free phone calls from your client while he/she is incarcerated at the WVRJ, please
contact the on-site Pay-Tel representative at 540-378-3745

Attorney Client Visitation

Two attorney/client contact visitation rooms and three private non-contact rooms
are available on-site on a first come, first serve basis. (The private non-contact rooms are enclosed rooms
with glass separating the inmate & visitor. Communication in these rooms is done via telephone).

Attorneys are afforded visitation during the times listed below.

8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Additionally, attorney's have the option of using the video visitation units at any of the member jurisdiction jails (Roanoke County, Franklin County and Montgomery County) to visit with their clients should they choose to do so.
